Frequently asked questions
Short answers about how j2x.net works. Figures marked "currently" can change; the panel always shows the live values.
General
What is j2x.net?
A banner advertising network. Advertisers buy banner space, publishers sell it on their sites, and every view is sold in a real-time auction. Money moves in Bitcoin.
Can one account advertise and publish?
Yes. Sign up once and use the menu at the top to switch between the advertiser and publisher panels.
How does the auction work?
For every view of a zone, all eligible campaigns compete. Each bid is converted to an expected value per 1 000 views (eCPM) using the ad's measured click and conversion rates. The highest eCPM wins and pays the lowest price that would still have won, never more than its own bid (second-price, GSP).
Which banner sizes are supported?
Eight standard sizes: 728×90, 468×60, 320×50, 300×250, 250×250, 160×600, 120×600 and 300×600, as GIF, JPEG or PNG.
Advertisers
How do I pay?
You add funds to your balance in Bitcoin. The balance is kept in satoshis. You choose one model per campaign: per valid click (CPC), per 1 000 viewable views (vCPM) or per conversion (CPA).
What is a viewable view?
A view counts as viewable when at least half of the banner is on screen for one continuous second. With vCPM you are charged only for those.
Am I charged for invalid clicks?
No. Clicks that look invalid are rejected immediately. A nightly cleanup also cancels invalid traffic found later and refunds it to your balance.
Is there a minimum bid?
Yes. Currently: $0.001 per click, $0.01 per 1 000 views and $0.10 per conversion. The limits are set by the network and can change.
Can I advertise adult, gambling or investment offers?
Yes. Tick the matching classes when you create the banner. It is shown only on sites that allow those classes, so it reaches fewer sites but also faces less competition. Adult ads carry an 18+ tag, and the banner image must still follow the advertising policy. HYIP and other risky projects are allowed only on sites where an admin has enabled them.
Are banners reviewed?
Yes. Every banner is reviewed before it goes live. If one is rejected, you see the reason.
How do I track conversions?
For CPA campaigns the advertiser panel gives you a postback address. Call it from your server when a conversion happens and you pay only for those.
Publishers
How do I add my site?
Add the site in the publisher panel, then prove ownership: either put a meta tag in the home page or upload a small verification file. Press Check now to verify it.
Can I choose which ads appear on my site?
Yes. In the site settings you choose which sensitive classes you accept: adult, gambling and investments. Nothing is on by default. The choice applies to the whole site, and an admin can block a class on a site. Risky projects are allowed only if an admin enables them.
Why does my zone show a j2x.net banner?
The zone shows a house banner when no paid ad is available, and during the review period of a new site. Once the site is approved, paid ads take over.
How much do I earn?
You receive a fixed share of what the advertiser pays, currently 70%, for every valid click, viewable view or conversion.
When can I withdraw?
New earnings are held while the traffic is checked (currently 30 days). After that they become withdrawable. The minimum withdrawal is currently 0.0001 BTC, paid to your FaucetPay account after a review.
Why were some of my earnings cancelled?
Earnings from traffic found to be invalid (bots, datacentre traffic and similar) are cancelled during the hold period. The statistics page shows the cancelled amount separately.
Account and data
Which cookies do you use?
Only a session cookie for signed-in users. The ads themselves run in a sandbox that sets no cookies and does not track visitors across sites. See the privacy policy.
Can I protect my account with two-factor authentication?
Yes. Open Account → Two-factor, confirm your password and scan the QR code with an authenticator app. After that every login also asks for a 6-digit code. Keep the backup codes in case you lose the phone.
Where are withdrawals paid?
To the FaucetPay recipient you save in Account → Payouts. When you save or change it, we email you and pause withdrawals for a short time, so that someone who learns your password cannot redirect your earnings at once.
Can I export or delete my data?
Yes. Open Account → My data to download a copy or to delete your account.
